Who killed 45-year old Barbara Johnson?  That's the question Chattanooga Police now face after an early morning shooting.

Investigators and emergency crews received word of the Rawlings Street incident about 4:15 this morning.  Someone who lives in the Orchard Knob community called authorities after hearing a gun shot.

When police arrived, they found Johnson's body with two bullet wounds.

Chris Brooks says he had just talked to his friend less than an hour before her death.  "She just told me she loved me and stuff and I told her she looked good cause she just got back out of jail and stuff you know and that was it.  I said I love you Barbara and I hugged her and said did she need something and she said I don't need nothing Gator and that was it."

Johnson had been attending a transformation program, following several prostitution and drug related convictions.

Officials say they do not have any suspects at this time.
