Does a two year community college really need a chapel?
Chattanooga State's Jim Catanzaro thinks so.
The college is in the early stages of planning the new structure.
He tells the Chattanooga Times Free Press that he wants a seven thousand square foot building with 60 foot hight vaulted ceilings and a flying buttress design.
The chapel would be built with private funds.
He wants to put it at the wetlands near the Center for Business, Industry and health.
But the final plan is still years away.
