As a lifelong Chattanooga area resident (Soddy-Daisy), I can honestly say I never recall the official Chattanooga flag. I looked it up on Google and once I saw it, I knew it was Tennessee related, but had no idea where in Tennessee. The new flag that was adopted by the city council absolutely represents Chattanooga and as soon as you see it, you know exactly what it represents. Although I hate loosing anything historical, I think that they did the right thing this time. RickAtNyte
