(WDEF) An East Ridge Animal Control Officer gets arrested by Chattanooga Police on a charge of stalking.
     The East Ridge Police Department was notified Sunday that East Ridge Animal Services Officer Cederick Jackson had an active warrant for stalking stemming from a Chattanooga Police Department investigation.
     Once the warrant was served, Jackson was suspended without pay pending the outcome of the criminal justice proceedings.
     Jackson has been employed by the City of East Ridge since 2005 and by East Ridge Animal Services since 2009.
