Fort Oglethorpe City Elections Results In

(WDEF) The election results are in and there will be a few new faces on the Fort Oglethorpe City Council.
        In Ward #2 incumbent Earl Gray took 64% of the vote with 781 votes.
        Challenger Arlene Walker won 37% with 393 total votes.
        In Ward #3 Craig Crawford is the winner with 710 votes, or 58% of the total.
        Challenger Scott Chastain won 22% of the vote with 277 votes.
        Incumbent Louis Hamm won 204 votes, equaling 16% of the total.
        In Ward #5 challenger Paula Stinnett took 66% of the votes.
        Incumbent Clay Kissner won 34% with 370 votes.
        For city-wide referendums:
        Sunday package sales for retailers passes with 60%, or 740 people, voting yes.  432 or 35% of total voters said no.
        Sunday liquor-by-the-drink sales at Fort Ogelthorpe restaurants was also on the ballot.  This referendum also passed with 62% or 758 yes votes and 424, or 34% of the voters, saying no.
