CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) - The third annual Jack's Chattanoggins left dozens of people with shaved heads but also raised money for pediatric oncology patients in Chattanooga.

Jack Skowronnek,14, of Chattanooga partnered with Children's Hospital to help children fight cancer.

The teen began shaving his head to raise awareness for pediatric cancer when he was only 10-years old. Since then, he's raised more than $60,000.

"The feeling is just crazy. I can't believe it got this big since the first time I've done this because the first time I did it, I was by myself. Now we have 103 people registered and more people coming just to shave their heads and it's just amazing," said Skowronnek.

The shaving took place at the Chattanooga Market in front of hundreds of onlookers. One-by-one, various people sat down to get their heads completely shaved with hopes of helping Skowronnek raise money for his favorite cause.

Last year they raised $35,000 and hope to raise $40,000 this time.
