The young patients in the cancer unit at the Children's Hospital at Erlanger got a special visitor this afternoon.
Monster Jams driver " Monster Mutt Rottweiler" came bearing gifts.
He's in town for a show tonight.
But this afternoon it was all about putting smiles on some little faces.
He brought toys and spent time visiting with the children.
Charles Benns... that's his real name...tells us he has a heart for children.
That's why he does this all over the country.
But he says this visit stood out for him.
Charles Benns, Monster Jams Driver, "Chattanooga is where I was born and raised. I was born in this hospital and now I have a chance to come back as the Monster Mutt Rotweiller and make a difference in some little kid's lives."
Benns hopes his visit will encourage people in Chattanooga to support the Children's Miracle Network.
He says this time of year they go through a slow spell.
