The fifth graders at Nolan Elementary jump rope for a good cause this week.
They're taking part in the American Heart Association's "Jump Rope for Heart" fundraiser.
The students will be jumping rope all week during their P-E class.
And a representative from the American Heart Association will be on hand to answer any questions.
The students have been collecting donations for the past couple of weeks.
5th grader Jillie McGann explained, "People with heart problems, they really need this and I think kids theses days need more exercise and its nice to help people out knowing that people are there for you."
Some celebrity jump-ropers joined the fun.
The kids will get to jump rope with the athletes from Signal Mountain Middle-High School... Looie the Lookout... And News12's own Webb Wright joined the jump-roping fun Monday.
