The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation filed suit against the United Auto Workers today.

Attorney's for the group say the Union "misled and coerced" Chattanooga Volkswagen workers into signing pledge cards.

Eight workers are part of the suit, asking the National Labor Relations Board to step in.

The UAW claims a majority of the Chattanooga plant's workers signed union cards.

Volkswagen can either approve the union based on those cards, or call for a secret ballot election.  A company official said last week, VW is in no hurry to grant union recognition based on the cards.
