CLEVELAND, Tn (WDEF) - Lee University recently hosted the 2013 Church of God Teen Talent competition.
Teen Talent is an international competition which aims to help young people ages 13-19 discover their talents, develop that talent, and dedicate it to better serve the Lord.
"Teen Talent is more than a competitive activity to determine who rates first and second," said Gary Lewis, international director of Youth and Discipleship for the Church of God. "It is a ministry to Church of God youth."
The five-day event features competition in music, art, drama, multimedia, creative writing, and the Bible.
Dr. Walt Mauldin, vice president for administration, oversees Lee University's role in Teen Talent along with 22 other faculty and staff members and approximately 50 student staff members.
