Project WET is Water Education for Teachers.
The curriculum is water focused, and correlated to the Tennessee State Curriculum Standards in Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science for grades K through 12.
The Project WET workshops are provided to local educators to receive their certification for the curriculum.
All education and outreach efforts on the part of the Hamilton County and City of Chattanooga Water Quality programs are organized in an effort to fulfill State and Federal requirements.
They include offering education and outreach, as well as public participation opportunities in areas pertaining to the health of our area watersheds, pollution prevention, and watershed conservation.
