The Sunflower: "The Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness"

The students in Mr. Fuller's Honors English class at Soddy Daisy High school took part in a symposium on "The Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness."
It's in connection with the reading of Simon Wiesenthal's "The Sunflower."
"The Sunflower" is a book on the Holocaust by Wiesenthal,
explaining his experience as a Jewish man in the Lemberg concentration camp.
While on a work detail, he encounters a dying Nazi soldier who asks for forgiveness for his crimes.
The students discussed the book and whether they could forgive the dying man for his horrible crimes.
