Hi, I'm Phil Lempert with the New Product HIts & Misses and I have 5 hits for you!
First up,
Tradewinds
Real Brewed Tea
Diet Green Tea
with a touch of honey and it's a hit. If you're looking for an easy way to make iced tea it can't get any easier than this. Real tea sweetened with honey, and the artificial sweeteners Splenda and Sunnett. Zero calories and very sweet, to the point that it overpowers any tea flavor. A lot less expensive than buying the individual bottle, but not as cheap as making your own. Retails for $2.99 for 1 gallon.  Total score 86.

Seapak Shrimp Co
Shrimp Spring Rolls
With Sweet Thai Dipping Sauce
is a hit.
Like Chinese food, but hate take out? These new spring rolls take just 13 minutes in the oven and are great tasting. When they came out of the oven they looked and felt very oily, but they don't taste oily at all and each roll is less than 1 gram of fat crispy and delicious. The dipping sauce? A little too sweet and not spicy enough.  Retails for $9.99 for 1.875 lb.  Total Score 85.

Walkers
Oatmeal Cookies
Mini Crunchy Bag

is our 3rd hit.
You probably remember Walkers shortbread cookies when your grandmother used to entertain. Now in this very easy to open package come mini oatmeal cookies. Still imported from Scotland these cookies will literally melt in your mouth - the cookie is 22% butter. Each cookie is 1 gram of fat and has a little over 1 gram of sugars. Absolutely delicious for a special treat, but not for every day.  Retails for $3.49 for 4.4 oz.  Total Score 87.

MultiGrain Spooners
Frosted Shredded Wheat Cereal
Mixed Berry Flavor
is another hit. If you're looking for an alternative to shredded wheat, check this out. One serving, which is 1 cup has a whopping 5 grams of protein and 43 grams of whole grains. The pomegranate blueberry flavor is very pronounced and actually overpowers the grains. The texture is a little softer than the shredded wheat that your grandfather used to eat. I love using a bag instead of a bag in a box, which certainly saves money and helps the environment.  Retails for $3.50 for 18 oz.  Total score 90.

Health Warrior
Chia Bar
Acai Berry

is the hit of the week.
Introducing a new 100% protein bar that tastes absolutely delicious and uses a base of chia and cashew butter. The flavor of the acai is very true to the berry and delicious. This tiny bar has 3 grams of protein and 1000mg of omega 3s and 600 of omega 6s. Perfect size for a briefcase or a purse and a perfect pick-me-up for a mid afternoon snack.  Retails for $1.69 for 0.88 oz.  Total Score 92.
