The Alabama-LSU game has turned into one of the nation's biggest rivalries. When the top-ranked Tide hosts the tenth-ranked Tigers on Saturday, it'll mark the fourth straight meeting in which one of the teams is ranked number one.

Alabama and LSU is certainly an intense rivalry, but it gets Nick Saban smiling? "This is not the kind of game that anybody could not get excited about playing in." Said Tide linebacker Denzel Duvall,"It's one of those games. You get geeked. You just want to go out there and get after it."

Reporter-"What is Bama week like, and do you enjoy this type of week?" Said LSU head coach Les Miles,"What it's like is there's a little more energy in the step of your team. Their attention to detail is greater."

Points are usually at a premium in this series. Said Miles,"They've allowed few points. They're a very difficult team to move the ball on the ground against."

Reporter-"What have you seen from LSU's defense on film so far this year?" Said Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron,"Skilled like always."

These two clubs are skilled and very physical. Said Saban,"It's a little bit like a heavyweight fight, and you certainly can't fade in any round." Added Duvall,"It just comes down to a good old hard-nosed fight. Heavyweight battle baby."

Since the Tide is number one, they need a win to stay in the national title chase. Reporter-"Can you guys afford a loss and still play for a national title?" Said Saban,"I can't really answer that question because it's kind of hypothetical in terms of what's going to happen. I think the thing we can control here is to try to get our players to play the best that they can play. Do the best job they can possibly can in every game that we play."
