Bill Battle Expected to Get Bama A.D. Job
Former Vols head football coach Bill Battle will be nominated to replace Mal Moore as the athletic director at Alabama. Battle has the recommendation of UA president Judy Bonner. He must now be approved by the school trustees on Friday morning. Moore announced this week that he is stepping down for health reasons. Battle played his college football at Alabama. He later founded the Collegiate Licensing Company in 1981.
