AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Gene Chizik says the Tigers are "manning up."

They're 0-2 for the first time since 2003 and have apparent deficiencies all over the field going into Saturday's game against Louisiana-Monroe.

Chizik said Monday the Tigers won't hold their heads down after a 28-10 loss at Mississippi State. They rank 108th in total offense and 109th in total defense, getting outgained by an average of 163 yards through the first two games.

Quarterback Kiehl Frazier committed five turnovers against the Bulldogs.

Wide receiver Quan Bray says, "We need a win real bad."

Defensively, Chizik says the Tigers have to get better at stopping the run and also missed some potential interceptions against the Bulldogs. He says the team "can't wait on a break" but must create its own success.
