Aaron Murray Explains Decision to Stay at Georgia
Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray announced via twitter on Sunday that he was coming back for his senior season. On Tuesday, he met with the media to discuss his decision. And Murray says he knew all along that he was returning to Athens, but he wanted to let the emotion of the loss in the SEC Championship Game subside before he officially announced his decision. Said Murray on Tuesday,"I'm excited for the opportunity to be a four year starter. It's a rare thing to be able to start for four years, especially at a big time SEC school. So I'm definitely blessed to have that opportunity. I love Georgia. I love being apart of this University and this team. And I'm just excited to have another year."
Murray is the only quarterback in SEC history to throw for 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons. When he was asked what it would take to improve his NFL stock, Murray said hopefully he could grow another two inches. He added that maybe yoga might help him stretch out a little bit.
