It's hard to call Georgia and Florida's annual showdown as just another game. Said Dawgs tight end Arthur Lynch,"There are so many kids from Florida, and there are so many kids from Georgia on both teams. You can't really account for it like you can in other games. You have high school teammates playing against each other."

The Dawgs have won the last two meetings, and the Gators are well aware of it. Said Florida receiver Solomon Patton,"I definitely have been waiting on this game. I had it circled ever since last year. This is like the main game I've been waiting on all year." Added Florida linebacker Dante Fowler,"Actually in our weight room, we still have the score up there from last year. I think it was 17-9. We just look at it. It just makes us want to do better. I know my teammates can't wait until this Saturday to play."

Florida's offense has struggled. They're near the bottom of the SEC in scoring. But Georgia on the other hand, is last in the league in scoring defense. Said Florida head coach Will Muschamp,"I told our offensive staff to me, it all comes back to execution. Go execute what we are trying to do. Too many situations where we were not on the same page against Missouri." Added Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy,"They have some talented players in the secondary, but they're young. So we're just going to have to try and find ways to confuse them."

Florida might have hard time though confusing Georgia senior quarterback Aaron Murray. Said Muschamp,"We're probably not going to show him anything he hasn't seen over four years at Georgia."

While Murray concerns coach Muschamp, that's not his biggest worry."Our last two trips to Jacksonville, we are minus four in the turnover margin. So you can cut it up however you want to, but you need to take care of the football. Two years ago, we had two turnovers inside our twenty yard line that led to 14 points. Then last year, we turned it over six times. It's hard to win any games doing that."

Neither the Dawgs or Gators are ranked, but that could change after a win on Saturday. Said Lynch,"The momentum from this game if we win or if they win, can really catapult your season down the road."
