Georgia senior nose guard John Jenkins will not play in the Capital One Bowl. Head coach Mark Richt announced today when the team arrived in Orlando that Jenkins won't play because of an academic-related issue. The 6'3, 358-pound Jenkins had 50 tackles for the Bulldogs this season. Even though he will miss the Capital One Bowl, Jenkins has been invited to play in the Senior Bowl next month in Mobile.
