The Gator Bowl appears to be a tough sell to Nebraska fans.
A season that fell short of expectations ends New Year's Day in Jacksonville, Fla., with a game against No. 23 Georgia, the same team that beat the Cornhuskers a year ago in the Capital One Bowl.
Steve Glenn, a walk-on offensive lineman in the 1970s, runs a travel agency in Lincoln. He said he's sold fewer than a dozen seats on a 137-seat charter to Jacksonville. He thinks fans are "ready to be done with this season."
Mike'l (Michael) Severe co-hosts a sports radio show in Omaha. He said listeners are unhappy the Huskers are playing Georgia again. They had hoped to go to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, where Kansas State would have been the opponent.
