B.J. Coleman Wrapping Up Summer Drills With Packers
The Green Bay Packers are wrapping up their summer mini-camp, where former Mocs quarterback B.J. Coleman continues to enhance his NFL skills.
Coleman was a rookie last year with the Packers, although he didn't see any game action. He was a member of Green Bay's practice squad for all of last season. But as the Packers head towards their training camp in July, Coleman hopes to challenge Graham Harrell for the team's number two quarterback position. Said Coleman,"Coming in last year like I've said many times before, you're sitting there just trying to survive. Just trying to get the play called. Get out there. Get it run. Make sure the other 21 guys are getting work. Now you are able to reap the benefits of what you are doing and why you are doing it. This game and especially this offense and the Green Bay Packer organization, they teach you from the ground up. They really teach you a lot of basics, and things that help you play faster, and play smarter, and get the ball into the hands of the play-makers."
