CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Chattanooga has dismissed running back Kendrix Huitt, wide receiver Terrell Robinson and long snapper Will Sharpton from its football team.
Chattanooga athletic department spokesman Jay Blackman said the three players were dismissed for a violation of athletic department policy.
The Times Free Press first  reported the players' release.
Robinson had 27 receptions for 263 yards and two touchdowns in 2013. He also was a reserve quarterback who went 14 of 19 for 121 yards with an interception. Robinson started three games at quarterback as a freshman in 2011. Robinson caught 40 passes for 489 yards and five touchdowns in 2012 while also rushing for three scores and throwing two touchdown passes.
Huitt rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns on 55 carries this season.
