Rossville, GA-(WDEF) Former Chattanooga Mocs linebacker Gunner Miller made his professional wrestling debut on Friday.
Miller and his tag team partner Ace Rockwell took on Shaun Tempers and Johnny Viper at the Rossville Athletic Center.
Organizers say the event attracted 700 fans, including many of Miller's former college and high school teammates.
Proceeds from the festivities were used to raise money for an insulin pump for Amy Brown.
Now Miller hopes to further his wrestling career this summer. He has been granted a try-out with the WWE.
The East Ridge native will already have one win under his belt, as he got the victory on Friday night.
Said Miller,"You know it's a different atmosphere than playing football I guess you could say. You go out there as a team, and they're chanting for the Mocs. Then you come in here, and all the Mocs are chanting for me. Just something humbling. It's pretty cool. If nothing else goes further than this, this was awesome. I lived my dream. If I can make it go farther, I'll try to represent the town. Take the 423 to the WWE."
