Chattanooga honored former wrestling coach Jim Morgan and nearly two dozen of the wrestlers he coached during his 16 year tenure with the Mocs during their match against the Citadel.
In those 16 seasons, he coached 16 All-Americans and three National Champion wrestlers in route to a 209-17-3 record. Morgan later became the head coach of the Baylor school program, where in his 25 year reign won 9 team state titles and 6 duals crowns, compiling a 539-84-1 record.
Morgan said every wrestler he ever coached from national titlists to third stringers were all a part of the program's success.
