Mocs Dean Haynes Finally Expected to Play This Saturday

Former Northwest Whitfield standout Dean Haynes is expected to see his first action of the season this Saturday for the Mocs. He transferred to UTC from N.C. State. But then Haynes fractured a bone in his foot just days into pre-season camp, and he has been sidelined ever since. Haynes has been working as a safety, but head coach Russ Huesman says he'll be used on special teams against Furman.
