Cjhattanooga-(WDEF) The Chattanooga Mocs held their first preseason workout on Wednesday. UTC showed off their new white helmets. Plenty of expectations for the Mocs with ten starters returning on both offense and defense. Chattanooga was picked to finish third in the Southern Conference, and the door could be open for a SoCon title since GSU and App State are both ineligible for the conference crown. Maybe that combination of experience and expectations had the guys jacked up at Scrappy Moore Field.

Said quarterback Jacob Huesman,"I think early on, they had to slow us down a little bit. I know we were over at walk-through going 100-miles-an-hour it felt like. They were actually saying slow down a little bit. It's a walk-through. That showed how eager our guys were to get out here." Added head coach Russ Huesman,"It was good. Lot of energy. I think they're in decent shape. I'

'm not sure they're in great shape."
