Chattanooga-(WDEF) Even though the Mocs-Bama game might be considered a glorified scrimmage, Chattanooga can't wait to face the nation's top ranked team.
Said offensive lineman Brandon Morgan,"I mean it will be a fantastic challenge, and of course I'll take that. All you can do is go out there and play."
Mocs coach Russ Huesman hopes his team can win some individual battles.
"Are they going to block Josh Freeman? Probably. I mean their guys are 6'5, 300-million-pounds. Josh Freeman is 5'11, 270-pounds."
Reporter-"Would you love to get a sack of A-J McCarron?"
Said Freeman,"Of course. Of course. I've dreamed of it. I think about it everyday. I plan on doing so. I set my goals high. That's one of them."
Huesman admits to being a big fan of Nick Saban.
"To keep a focus. To keep a team and to keep an organization winning like they're winning year in and year out with the bulls eye on your chest. It's Alabama. They're getting everybody's best shot. To keep his players focused week in and week out. I think it's the most remarkable coaching job probably in any sport at any level. It's amazing."
This season, when a team wins a big game, fans have started holding up signs that say, 'We Want Bama.' And now the Mocs get that experience.
Said Freeman,"We want them. They're the next big game. So we want them."
Said Huesman,"I saw that pee wee group that did it.(Held up We Want Bama sign) Little seven or eight-year-old group. They want to take our place this week, I'll let them."(Laughter)
