The Tennessee Vols crushing run of four straight wins has earned them a double bye as a 4 seed in the SEC Tournament.
Squarely on the NCAA Tournament bubble a week ago, the Vols embarked on a dominant three game span to play themselves back into the field of 64. Tennessee ripped through Vanderbilt, Auburn, and Missouri by an average of 30 points per contest. The secret to the Big Orange run has been defense, limiting the competition to an average of 27 percent shooting from the field in that three game span. Tennessee will have a couple of days to wait for an opponent in the conference tournament, garnering the four seed and getting a pass into the quarterfinals. They will await the winner of Auburn or South Carolina and Arkansas. A victory in that game would likely mean a showdown with number one Florida in the conference semifinals. Here's a look at the SEC bracket.
