The Vols football team held their annual pro day on Wednesday.
And one of those looking to impress NFL scouts was Jacques Smith.
The Ooltewah native benched pressed 225-pounds 27 times.
His broad jump was an impressive 10-feet, 7-inches.
But his forty time was a little disappointing at 4.9 seconds.
Smith is kind of a tweener between defensive end and linebacker.
He's 6-1 and 258-pounds.
Said Smith,"I'm just trying to do anything and everything I can to help the program out. Whatever a teams needs are, I'm trying to be that for them. If it's a defensive end or if it's an outside linebacker or rush specialist. If it's special teams. Whatever it is to get on the field, I want to go out and do it and give my best effort."
