Peyton Manning was back on Rocky Top on Tuesday. He was in town to present his annual Peyton Manning scholarship.

And the legendary quarterback also took part in a golf fundraiser. Manning also plans to be back in Knoxville in late October when the Vols host Alabama. That's when the Denver Broncos have a bye week. Manning says coming back for the Tide and Tennessee this year will be special.

Said Manning,"I'm looking forward to that game. I know they are going to honor. I can't tell you how excited I am for Coach Fulmer, going into the College Hall of Fame this year. They are going to honor him that weekend. So it will be special to be here for that. It's a big year. It's such a tough schedule. The SEC really reminds me of the NFL that it's so competitive."
