Former Vols football coach Phil Fulmer was in Chattanooga on Wednesday. He was the guest speaker for the annual YMCA prayer luncheon. Fulmer was honored this past weekend before the Bama game since he's going into the college football hall of fame in December. Regarding the current state of Vols football, Fulmer hopes Derek Dooley can get it turned around. Said Fulmer,"Derek inherited a mess. Regardless of the side you are on, it was a mess. We're hopeful that he can continue to improve with the team and finish up the season with them."
