KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee's Tyler Bray and Mississippi State's Tyler Russell are very different types of quarterbacks, but they have more in common than their first name.
Bray and Russell have been protected as well as any quarterback in the Southeastern Conference this season. That doesn't figure to change this week.
Tennessee and No. 19 Mississippi State have each allowed only three sacks all season, the lowest total in the entire conference. Coincidentally, those two schools also have recorded the fewest sacks in the SEC. Mississippi State has recorded only eight sacks through its first five games, while Tennessee has posted only six sacks.
If somebody beats the odds and provides some semblance of a pass rush Saturday, it could determine the outcome of the matchup between these two teams.
