KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee officials say freshman lineman Charles Mosley has been hospitalized after breaking his tibia in a car wreck.
Tennessee athletic department spokesman Jimmy Stanton said Monday that Mosley underwent surgery Sunday night after being in a car accident with his family earlier Sunday.
Angie Golding, a spokeswoman at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, said Mosley was in fair condition.
Stanton says there is "no definitive word on recovery time at this point," though he's "hopeful" that Mosley will be released from the hospital by the end of the week.
Mosley, a freshman from Brighton, Tennessee, is listed on Tennessee's roster as a potential offensive or defensive lineman.
