KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee often saves its best performances of the season for Florida.
The Volunteers want to make sure the trend continues Saturday.
Tennessee (12-6, 3-2 SEC) has won all three of its meetings with Florida (16-2, 5-0) since Cuonzo Martin started coaching the Volunteers in the 2011-12 season. Tennessee has dominated this series lately even though Florida has reached an NCAA tournament regional final and the Vols have landed in the NIT each of the last two years.
The Vols will put that streak on the line while trying to end the sixth-ranked Gators' 25-game home winning streak Saturday at Gainesville. The only Division I programs with longer active home winning streaks than Florida are No. 18 Duke with 27 and Stephen F. Austin with 26.
