Vols lose receiver Cody Blanc for the Entire Season

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee wide receiver Cody Blanc will miss the entire season after tearing an Achilles tendon on the opening day of training camp.
Volunteers coach Butch Jones announced the severity of the injury on Tuesday. Blanc had hurt his Achilles during the Vols' opening workout Friday.
Blanc, a 6-foot-3 junior from Knoxville, played in 10 games and made one start last season while also contributing on special teams. He has one career catch, a 43-yard reception against Alabama last year.
