The Bradley Central girls had beaten rival Cleveland by an average of 31 points in their two previous meetings this season. But it proved to be much tougher for the Bearettes on Monday in the District 5-AAA tournament finals at Cleveland. The game was tied at 28 at halftime before Bradley pulled away for a 52-43 victory. The Lady Raiders hit several three's in the first half to keep pace. Sydnie Anderson paced the Lady Raiders with 16 points. But Cleveland's offense slowed down in the second half, as they scored just 15 points in the final two quarters. Rebecca Reuter scored 14 for Bradley Central, while teammate Brooke Copeland had 19 points and 15 rebounds.
