Cardinals Trade Reliever Mitchell Boggs to Colorado

The St. Louis Cardinals have traded relief pitcher Mitchell Boggs to Colorado. In exchange for Boggs, St. Louis acquired the Rockies international signing bonus slot in the draft. Boggs was currently pitching for the Cardinals Triple-A team in Memphis. The Dalton native has struggled this season. He was 0-3 with St. Louis with an ERA over 11, and he was 0-2 at Memphis with an ERA over five.
