Louisville coach Charlie Strong has turned down the job opening at the University of Tennessee. The Vols reportedly offered Strong $3.5 million a year. Said Strong,"They made an offer and I said I'd think about it and talk about it with my family. It was the best decision to stay here, continue to build a program and fulfill our dreams on the football field and in the classroom." According to ESPN, Strong will now get a new eight year contract at Louisville.
