Cleveland Beats GPS to Advance to Best of Preps Finals

Cleveland defeated GPS 51-27 to advance to the finals of the Best of Preps tournament going down at Chattanooga State. The Lady Blue Raiders raced out to a 20-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Cleveland hit several three-pointers to help build the big cushion. Norah Berry had 15-points for Cleveland, while teammate Sydnie Anderson added 13. The Lady Blue Raiders will face Baylor in the finals. In the boys final, Baylor will face rival McCallie. The girls championship game is scheduled to tip around 7pm on Saturday, followed by the boys final around 8:30pm at Chattanooga State.
