After winning their first two games of the year by a combined scored of 46-0, the East Ridge softball won a more conventional game on Friday afternoon. They beat Hixson 3-2. The Pioneers got a run in each of the first three innings. Hixson had three errors in the contest, leading to a pair of unearned runs for East Ridge. Ashley Irvin had five K's for East Ridge as they improve to 3-0 on the season.
