The NFL combine gets underway this weekend, and a trio of former Vols receivers are hoping to impress the scouts. Jon Burton has more from Indianapolis. The player everybody is talking about is Cordarrelle Patterson. The juco transfer dazzled in his only season at UT, and he's listed as the top wideout on many draft boards. Said Patterson,"I couldn't ask for anything more. Just the process. Me coming to the NFL. Playing at Tennessee. What great fans they've got. They were behind me a hundred percent. I respect them for that. I can't ask for anything more."

Despite coming off a knee injury, teammate Justin Hunter is also high on many draft boards. He's out to prove he's more than just a speed threat. Said Hunter,"I don't want to be just that. I want to be more than that. I want to be a complete receiver. Short routes. Taking the big hit when I need to across the middle. I want to just be that receiver."

Then there's Da'Rick Rogers. Kicked off the Vols prior to last season, Rogers transferred to Tennessee Tech. He says he's more mature now and ready for the NFL, and he still holds true to his UT roots. Said the former Calhoun High School standout,"I consider them both. I'm a Vol for life. A VFL. That's forever. But I'm also a Golden Eagle. They accepted me, and I accepted them too. I have two homes. Two homes in Tennessee."

And all three wideouts continue to push each other. Justin Hunter said he has a bet with Da'Rick Rogers, as to who will run the fastest and jump highest this weekend. Says Hunter, I know I will win both.
