Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin has apologized after calling Bama head coach Nick Saban "Nicky Satan" during a speech at a sports banquet in Macon on Tuesday night. Said Franklin in his speech,"There's this guy at Alabama Nicky Satan, you guys have probably heard of him before. I'm going to outwork him. I'm going to outwork him. That's kind of our plan every single day." Franklin says he called Saban over the phone to apologize. Vanderbilt does not play Alabama next season.
