Georgia's defense has limped into the Capital One Bowl against Nebraska. They gave up 350-yards rushing against Alabama in the SEC title game. Since that contest, the Dawgs lost nose guard John Jenkins to academics, and they lost defensive line coach Rodney Garner to Auburn. At least defensive end Abry Jones expects to play after missing six games following ankle surgery, although he won't be a hundred percent. Head coach Mark Richt was asked if all the changes were a big issue for defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.

"I think Coach Grantham has everything under control along with the rest of the staff. I think the guys want to finish in a real positive way. I'm not worried about that. If there's an issue, it's because Nebraska rushes for 250-yards per game. Got a very agile quarterback. Great passer as well. If there are problems, it's not going to be because somebody is not ready. It's going to be because they are a pretty darn good offense."
