Howard lost to Jackson South Side 67-53 in the Class AA state semifinals on Friday in Murfreesboro. The Hustlin' Tigers trailed 47-44 with 4:19 to play in the game, when South Side went on a 13-0 run. South Side hit 64-percent of their shots in the second half. Xavier Harris led Howard with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Brandon Walters added 11 points and 8 rebounds.
