Alex Black pitched in 12 for Chattanooga, including a three at the first half buzzer to stake the Lady Mocs to a 14 point lead at the break. Georgia Southern fought back to tie the game at 49 with just over 10 minutes to play.
UTC promptly went on a 18-6 run to put the out of reach for good.
Alicia Payne and Ashlen Dewart both added 11 in the win as UTC's bench outscored Georgia Southern 27-10.
