We all know the TV commercial that says, "What happens in Vegas..Stays in Vegas." That's supposed to be the same mantra for football locker rooms. But a video got out of the Vols locker room last season concerning rival Vanderbilt. And it just might add a little more spice to this weekend's rematch.

After the Vols beat Vandy 27-21 in overtime last year, it set off a wild locker room celebration. That's when head coach Derek Dooley told the team, "One thing Tennessee always does is the kick (the you know what out) of Vanderbilt."

Video of the celebration got out, and Commodores coach James Franklin wasn't happy. Reporter in November of 2011,"What's your reaction to Dooley's statement , that what UT does is always beat the bleep out of Vanderbilt?" Said Franklin,"We'll talk about it next year. A lot. That's a wound I'm going to leave open. It's not going to heal." Fast forward to last Monday. Reporter-"Have you pulled the band-aid or the scab off of that at this point?" Said Franklin,"I've matured dramatically since that game."(laughter) Said Derek Dooley,"I'm sure they have plenty of motivation. They don't need that. I can't take that back." Said Vols offensive lineman Antonio Richardson,"That was a big time celebration because we won in overtime. E.G. (Eric Gordon) recovered a fumble I think, and he took it back. So yeah, it was really exciting. They're going to come into this game with a chip on their shoulder." Said Franklin,"You guys know me. I've got a chip on my shoulder. We've got tee shirts for the entire team with the word 'chip' written on our shoulder."

As the rivals prepare for the much anticipated rematch, it's Vandy with the better record. They're 6-4 and UT is 4-6. Said Dooley,"They've done a great job. I guess it's good for the rivalry. Makes for better games." Said Vols receiver Zach Rogers,"Give all the credit to Vandy. They're doing a great job right now. They're confident in what they do. They're doing a great job this season under new coaching. They believe in what they do. We've got to continue to be what Tennessee is, and hopefully carry the fight to Vandy."
