Memphis AD Talking About Extending UT Series

Memphis coach Josh Pastner wants to quit playing Tennessee after Friday night. But his athletic director has a different opinion. Tom Bowen told the Commercial Appeal that the Tigers will re-evaluate the game because it's important to us. The two schools are wrapping up an eight year contract on Friday Night. Vols athletic director Dave Hart told the Knoxville News Sentinel that UT has been in talks with Memphis about continuing the series. Vols coach Cuonzo Martin wants to keep playing the game, but he said earlier this week that UT likely won't be able to play the Tigers next year because of the Vols schedule.
