Missouri Anxious to Face "Familiar" Opponent in Vols
The Vols will unleash the SEC's top passing offense on Missouri this Saturday. Tennessee is averaging 323-yards a game through the air. The Tigers are in their first year of SEC play, and they're kind of glad to be facing an offense like Tennessee's. Said Missouri defensive back C.J. Gaines,"It kind of takes me back to the Big 12 a little bit, as far as them passing the ball. We really haven't gotten that so far being in the SEC. It just kind of takes us back to the Oklahoma and Oklahoma State days." Added Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel,"They actually get the ball down field. They throw it down field. They put a lot of yards and a lot of points against a lot of people, so that's going to be our challenge. We have been playing pretty good defense. But it's going to be another challenge from a different type of offense."
