Chattanooga-(WDEF)  The Chattanooga Mocs will make their home debut Friday night, as they tip off their season against Covenant College.
It will also mark the debut of new head coach Will Wade. He's bringing Chaos to UTC, an up-tempo, pressing style of basketball.

The Mocs return four starters from last year, so Wade has some tools to work with.

But before UTC starts pressing opponents, Wade and his players have been pressing students and the community in an effort to drum up support for the team.
Said guard Gee McGhee,"I've been meeting a lot of people. We've been having little festivities. Passing out popsicles or candy for Halloween. Just meeting new people. It has been great meeting everybody and seeing everybody and how excited they are to see us play. Right now, we all just want to win right now. We all want that one goal and that's just to win the conference championship."

The Mocs and Covenant tip at 5:30pm on Friday, and the women will tip their season against Alabama immediately following the men's game.
