At this time last Friday, we thought Dontay Hampton's UTC career was over after suffering a broken hand. But the senior gutted out the pain and kept on playing.

However, Hampton reinjured his surgically repaired knee last night against Elon. So once again, his career may be over. After playing in the first half against the Phoenix, Hampton did not return to the court in the second half.

Hampton didn't start playing this season until mid-January after recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL.

UTC likely won't learn the extent of Hampton's new injury until they return to town next week.

The Mocs play at Greensboro on Sunday.
